Leads science and data at withClaro
Alena A. Kozlova is a neuroscientist with a PhD in affective disorders. She completed her doctoral dissertation at the Technical University of Dresden, in a laboratory at the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital that focuses on the neurobiology of mental illness.
Alena studied the underlying causes of mental illness. She has always been interested in what happens in the brain, what causes anxiety, burnout or depression, and how to address them. While working in academia, she wanted to put her knowledge into practice, which led her to startups.
She has since worked at startups in biotech, longevity and mental health. At withClaro she leads science and data: she checks that what we publish about antidepressants matches the research, and works with the clinicians on our advisory board.
