⚠️ It's not a substitute for medical advice. This calculator can help you visualise a tapering schedule but before making any changes to your medication plan it's necessary to consult a medical professional. Ask psychiatrist — available after you build your protocol.

About this helpline finder

How detection works, when to use emergency services, and how this relates to tapering.

  • Is this the same as calling emergency services?

No. Helplines offer free, confidential emotional support — they are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 999 in the UK, 112 in much of Europe).

  • How does Claro detect my country?

We guess your country from your device timezone and browser language — no location permission and no data sent to our servers. It is only a starting point; you can search and pick any country at any time.

  • Which countries are covered?

We maintain a curated list of official crisis and mental-health helplines for dozens of countries. Select your country, filter by topic and channel (phone, text, or chat), then click Find help to see matching lines.

  • Can I use these helplines while tapering antidepressants?

Yes. Withdrawal can bring intense symptoms — including suicidal thoughts — that deserve support. These lines are for anyone struggling, whether or not you are tapering. Always contact your prescriber for medication decisions.

  • Is this medical advice?

No. This page helps you find free support resources. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace a qualified clinician.
